Payment & Insurance


Oakheart Therapy is in network with Medical Assistance, United Healthcare and Optum and is in the process of becoming credentialed with all major insurance carriers. 

It is encouraged to check with your insurance company directly to determine your specific coverage, as many plans offer out-of-network benefits. In these cases, you would pay the fee at the time of service and OakHeart Therapy would submit the claim to your insurance company on your behalf (courtesy billing.)


55 minute session: $110

45 minute session: $90

Discounted fee services are available to clients with limited income upon request and are based on availability.


Payment arrangements are typically made at the beginning of each session. Cash, check and all major credit cards are accepted. Clients have used their HSA, flexible spending dollars, or medical savings account to pay for services. Please allow a 24 hour cancellation notice. Oakheart Therapy does adhere to a $60 no show or late cancelation policy.

Why Private Pay?

While paying privately for therapy may not be right for everyone, many clients choose to private pay, as insurance companies require therapists to diagnose their patients in order to authorize treatment. Insurance policies may limit the scope of practice and the amount of allowable sessions. I am happy to talk with you more about choosing what might be best for your situation.
